About Us

Hi, I'm Derrick Maxie, the founder of Maxie's AP Seasoning. Born and raised in San Antonio,TX. I was always hanging around the kitchen with my dad and so my love for food and creating flavorful dishes was introduced to me at a young age.

Maxie's All-Purpose Seasoning began with my dad, who is a chef started creating the seasoning in 2016. Working on perfecting the seasoning for over a year his goal was to create an all-purpose seasoning that could be put on anything and to cut down on the cost of buying multiple seasonings. All while still being able to create well balanced flavorful dishes with great taste.

In time he gave out samples and began to sell his seasoning to friends and family. To no one's surprise, the seasoning was a big hit! Over the next few years we built a following of returning customers including restaurants buying in bulk for use on their burgers. He continued to mix and sell his seasoning from his kitchen and home until 2022 when I established Maxie's All-Purpose Seasoning under Maxie Enterprises.
